Stud Dog Availability

 

Some of our dogs are available to public stud for $800.00 (or a "puppy back" option for approved bitches with qualifying pedigrees).  A breeding fee of $300.00 with balance of $500.00 due upon the safe arrival of two or more live pups. 

 

Fresh, chilled semen can be shipped, please contact us about current rates for collection and shipping, as they are subject to change. 

 

Progesterone testing is also available by a qualified Veterinarian at an extra cost per test, if requested. 

 

All bitches being bred at Herdabout must have been tested for VwD, OFA hips either Good or Excellent (certified or prelim'd), eyes CERF clear, complete thyroid panel done (with results normal and TGAA Negative), and have had a brucellosis test within 3 months of this breeding. 

 

The bitch must also be up to date on DHPP vaccinations with rabies,  be free from any external parasites, and communicable diseases.  Titers tests will only be accepted if done within 6 months prior to being bred and must be done on all DHPP, (not just for Parvo).  Titers will not be accepted in lieu of Rabies vaccination, but a 3 year Rabies vaccination certificate will be accepted.
