Our conditions are

1.

Pet puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract, with a CKC non-breeding agreement.

2.

You will also have a two week trial period, during which time you can return the puppy for a refund of the purchase price (minus the deposit).

3.

We also insist on the right of first refusal, which means that at any time in the dog's life you cannot commit to the dog, for whatever reason, and need to re-home the dog, you must offer to return him/her to us first, no questions will be asked, and we will take the dog back. We are concerned about the dogs we breed and want the best possible for them.

4.

The 3 year extended health guarantee covers full replacement of the puppy (when a suitable replacement puppy becomes available) if any genetically inherited disease appears and renders the puppy unsuitable for the purpose to which the puppy was origionally purchased. Example being that if you purchased the puppy for the specific purpose of having an agility dog, and the puppy develops a genetically inherited spinal disease (such as the extremely rare spondolosis), we will take back the dog and replace it with another puppy when a suitable one becomes available. However, the puppy would not be replaced if the dog's spine problem was a result of an injury incurred while in your care.

The extended health guarantee does not cover accidental death due to owner's negligence (hit by car, etc.).

The extended health guarantee will be null and void if the new owner fails to provide the dog with:

A).   a proper diet (a premium dog food, such as Purina Pro Plan, whose contents have meat listed as the #1 ingredient and has at least a 24% protein content),

B).   or fails to provide the dog with yearly vaccinations for DHPP, Rabies and Kennel Cough, and/or fails to maintain protection against external and internal parasites, which includes a yearly fecal check for parasites.

Our dogs are thoroughly screened for genetically inherited diseases before any breeding occurs, so we are confident to stand behind our puppies. With shelties, by three years of age, if there was going to be any genetically inherited health problems, they should have surfaced by then.
