This
class is for puppies 3 to 6 months old.
You and
your puppy will learn the basic voice commands and hand signals for
formal obedience such as Sit,
Down, Stay, Come, Heel, etc. Focus and control exercises will be taught to
help your puppy learn to ignore tempting or dangerous items. Problem behaviors and solutions will be
addressed such as jumping up, digging, chewing, and housebreaking.
Puppy playtime will help develop good socialization skills and four
pieces of puppy agility equipment are used to build your puppy's
confidence in training.

This class is for graduates of Junior Puppy Kindergarten.
You and your puppy
will expand on what you have learned and receive the building blocks
for formal obedience. Off-leash heeling isn't just a myth, it is
possible!
A few tricks will be taught to keep the learning process
fun. Puppy playtime continues and will help develop good socialization skills. |

This class is for dogs 7 months and older.
You and your dog will learn the basic voice commands
and hand signals for formal obedience such as Sit,
Down, Stay, Come, Heel, etc. Focus and control exercises will
be taught to help your dog learn to ignore tempting or dangerous items. Problem behaviors and solutions will be
addressed such as jumping up, digging, chewing, etc.
Manners and good socialization skills are worked on
in this class, as the true socialization of a dog is NOT the ability
of a dog to play with every dog it meets (this is an unrealistic
view) but rather the true socialization of a dog is the dog's
ability to see another dog, and simply ignore it. |

This class is
for graduates of Pre-Novice Level # 1 or older graduates of Junior Puppy Kindergarten.
You and your dog
will expand on what you have learned and start your formal obedience
training with all the exercises needed to enter an obedience trial
in the Pre-Novice division.
While not everyone is interested in
competition, the exercises are still fun to learn and are extremely
helpful in real life situations.
Some tricks and games will be
taught to keep the learning process fun. |

This class is
for dogs that are graduates of the Pre-Novice Level # 2.
You and your dog
will learn all the obedience commands and hand signals for
performance such as Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, etc. As well, you
will learn all the exercises needed to enter an obedience trial in
the Novice Division.
Special focus will be on developing your
handling skills and proofing your dog. |

Canine Good

For
Graduates of Junior Puppy Kindergarten or Pre Novice Level # 1.
This class
will focus on training and preparing your dog for the 12 tests
involved in taking the CKC's CGN exam. These skills will help
you develop a well mannered, confident and controlled dog. The
final CGN exam is separate from this class as the testing event is
in the same format as a CKC sanctioned Obedience trial. Even
if you never plan on taking the final exam, the exercises are
applicable to everyday situations. The basic format of the 12
exercises is very similar to the Therapeutic Paws test and a great
way to prepare your dog for therapy work. Look here for more

You and your dog
will learn all the exercises used in the Open Level of Obedience.
Off leash heeling, Drop on recall, Dumbbell retrieve on the flat and
Over the panel jump, The Broad jump, 3 minute Sit/Stay and 5 minute
Down/Stay with handler out of site. |

Specialty Clinics
These classes
are a one day, 2 hour long, class session that only deals
with one specific behavior problem. They are designed for
people who are not interested in taking a whole four week obedience
class just to deal with one specific (and common) problem.
A minimum of 4 students and maximum of 6 per class.

For anyone who has a
dog that pulls while out for a walk, and is tired of their dog
taking them for a "Drag". Whether your dog weighs 5 pounds or
100 pounds, no one wants their dog lunging or pulling while on
leash.
Learn how to teach your dog to walk politely on a
loose leash, ignore distracting things while out on a walk, pay
attention to the handler, and go where the handler goes (not where
the dog decides to go).

Learn how to teach your dog what every dog owner
wants: a dog
that comes immediately the first time they are called, and on one

saving command to get your dog to return to you immediately and out
of harm's way if the dog gets loose when you don't want him to be. |
