~Sunshine~
Sunshine's first time in the ring (as a jr. puppy) brought her a Winner's Bitch, Best Of Breed (over specials), and Best Puppy In Breed. And, yes, they brought out the wicket, just to make sure that she is within the size range. Now we can hardly wait spring 2008 to get Sunshine back out into the show ring and finish her Canadian Championship. This seemingly quiet little girl is full of surprises. One day after mowing the lawn, we accidentally left the teeter leaning up against the house, and released the dogs out into the yard. An hour later Jeff walked out and had the shock of his life as there was Sunshine, looking down at him from our roof! She had scaled the really sharp angle of the teeter, climbed up onto the roof and was having a great time overlooking the world. Agility potential? We think so.
Sunshine comes to us through the generosity of Heather Walton (Aberdale Shelties). This adorable little girl has wonderful structure and a fantastic pedigree. She will be on the smaller side of proper height for a sheltie, but don't let that fool you, she is a bundle of fun and has a great temperament too. Sunshine is already quite comfortable with the agility equipment and will also be out in the conformation rings as soon as she is ready. A big congratulations goes out to Heather Walton of Aberdale Shelties for the completion of Red's Canadian Championship. Ch. Aberdale's Infatuation aka Red is a littermate of Sunshine. Hopefully she will be following in her brothers footsteps soon. On day one Red went WD over an American Champion male who has a group 1st and a group 3rd and remains undefeated in the USA. Day two brought Red a RWD, and day three brought Red a WD and BOS over several nice males including an Am/Can Champion. Way to go Heather and Red. We can hardly wait to see how Sunshine is going to do out in the rings. \
