class is geared for puppies up to 6 months old. You and your
puppy will learn the basic obedience commands such as Sit, Down,
Stay, Come, heel, Etc. that are needed to create a well
mannered puppy. Problem behaviors and solutions will be
addressed such as jumping up, digging, chewing, and
housebreaking. Puppy playtime will help develop good
socialization skills and 4 pieces of puppy agility equipment are
used to build your puppy's confidence.
Sr.
Puppy Kindergarten

class is geared for graduates of Jr Puppy Kindergarten. You
and your puppy will expand on what you have learned and receive the
building blocks for formal obedience. Off-Leash heeling isn't
just a myth, it is possible! A few tricks will be taught to
keep the learning process fun. Puppy playtime will help
develop good socialization skills.
Pre-Novice
Obedience Level 1

dog will learn the basic obedience commands such as Sit, Down,

mannered dog. Problem behaviors and solutions will be

Pre-Novice
Obedience Level 2

class is for graduates of Pre-Novice Level #1 or older graduates
of Jr. Puppy. You and your dog will expand on what you have
learned and start your formal obedience training with all the
exercises needed to enter an obedience trial in the Pre-Novice
division. While not everyone is
interested in competition the exercises are still fun to learn and
are extremely helpful in real life situations. Some tricks
and games will be taught to keep the learning process fun.

class is for dogs that are graduates of the the
Pre-Novice Level #2. You and your dog will
learn all the obedience commands and hand signals for performance
such as Sit, Down, Stay, Come, heel etc. As well all the exercises
needed to enter an obedience trial in the Novice division. Special
focus will be on developing your handling skills and proofing your
dog

Canine
Good Neighbour

Graduates of Jr Puppy, or Pre Novice Level #1.
This class will focus on training and preparing your dog for the
12 tests involved in taking the CKC CGN exam. These skills
will help you develop a well mannered, confident and controlled
dog
The
final CGN exam is separate from this class as the testing event is
in the same format as a CKC sanctioned Obedience trial. Even
if you never plan on taking the final exam, the exercises are
applicable to everyday situations. The basic format of the
12 exercises is very similar to the Therapeutic Paws test and a
great way to prepare your dog for therapy work.
Rally
Obedience #1

class is for graduates of Jr. Puppy Kindergarten, Pre-Novice
level # 1 or equivalent. You
and your dog will learn all of the 31 exercises used in the
Novice Level of Rally Obedience. Rally
Obedience is a lot of fun and teaches your dog focus and
attention. A great way to get young dogs working well
for their handlers. Rally-O has also proved to be a useful
tool for training for those who do agility. This
class is done all on leash.

Obedience #2

graduates of Rally-O # 1. You and your dog will use what you
have learned in Rally Obedience # 1 and run full courses.
This class is a lot of fun and helps prepare both dog and handler
for Rally-O competitions. All work is done on leash
Rally
Obedience #3

For graduates
of Rally-O # 1, or equivalent. This class teaches the
additional 19 Rally Obedience exercises that are used in both the
Advanced and Excellent level of Rally-O. Most of the work done
in class will be on leash, however, the Advanced and Excellent
levels of competition will need to be performed off leash.
For safety reasons, only 1 dog will be allowed off leash at a time
in the classroom situation.

Trial Preparation

graduates of Novice Obedience. Students that would like to
go on and compete in obedience will find this class helpful to
proof their dog and learn some extra skills that are necessary to
earn a qualifying score and maybe even a High in Trial!!
Open
Level Obedience

Price $175.00 For
graduates of Novice Obedience. You and your dog will learn
all the exercises used in the Open level of Obedience. Off
leash heeling, drop on recall, Dumbbell retrieve on the flat and
over the panel jump, the Broad jump, 3 minute Sit/Stay and 5
minute Down/Stay with handler out of site.
